Fit Tip #10

In addition to dancing, try other activities such as in-line skating, running, kick-boxing, riding your bike, power walking, basketball, jumping rope or swimming.

Fit Tip #9

The second part of your warm-up should consist of some kind of aerobic activity such as jogging, jumping rope, or jumping jacks to get your blood flowing.  Increased blood flow in muscles, improves performance and reduces likelihood of an injury.

Fit Tip #8

Warm-ups should begin with joint rotations, starting with your neck and working your way down to your toes.  Rotate in slow circular movements, both clockwise and counter-clockwise the following: neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, fingers, waist, hips, legs, knees, ankles and toes.
