Just Jordan, Some More!Oct. 30th, 2007 Nickelodeon announced that it will be picking up another 7 episodes of Just Jordan for this season!!! That’s nearly double the original amount that was planned! To catch all the extra shows, you’ll have to tune in on a new day and time: The show is moving to Saturdays at 8:30pm on November 3rd – Next weekend! That’s also the night on which we set our clocks back from Daylight Savings Time, and get an extra hour to sleep in the next morning – so you’ve got two great reasons to have a slumber party that night!!! The first episode to start it all off will feature Keke Palmer, the star of “Akeelah and the Bee”, as a teen popstar caught up in the chaos of paparazzi madness. Will Jordan take advantage of the great pics he took, and the money they will make him, or respect the new friend he’s made? Watch and find out! Also, check for more on the show’s star, Lil JJ, in our features section later today!

Happy B-Day to Gwen's Guy!Oct. 30th, 2007 A big ole happy birthday to Gavin Rossdale, Gwen Stefani's hottie hubby! Another star birthday being celebrated today is Ivanka Trump, 'The Donald's' not so little girl who inherited all of mommy's good looks and all of daddy's business savvy! We're just a little jealous! Also celebrating today is one of the stars of 'Everybody Hates Chris', Tequan Richmond! Happy Wishes to all for a great day!

Doh! Boy BirthdayOct. 29th, 2007 Yep! Today you can wish the master of the Doh!, Dan Castellaneta (otherwise known as the voice of Homer Simpson) a big, fat, pink-frostinged donut for his birthday! Another famous birthday today is the one of the stars of the original "Bring It On" movie, Gabrielle Union! These Scorpios know when to be born to have the most fun at their parties, don’t they!

Walk it Out!Oct. 29th, 2007 Former teen sensation, and now pretty kewl brother band Hanson has started a kewl new charity. Together with a company called Tom’s Shoes, they are doing something about poverty in Africa. For every pair of shoes you buy from the company, they donate a pair. How painless is that?!? You get a pair of shoes, and the company gives a pair to someone else too! To draw more attention to the program, Hanson is leading ‘walks’ in every city they tour to. You can check it out on their website www.hanson.net , or if you’re in LA, you can head over to the West Hollywood City Hall at 10am tomorrow, and take part in The Walk! KEWL will be there! How about you?

Zoey’s a Yes ManOct. 26th, 2007 Looks like things have already started on the set of Jim Carrey’s new film “Yes Man”, and with a great new romantic lead! Zoey Deschanel has said yes to play the funny man’s love interest in the film, and we’ll sure that’ll keep the cute quotient on set appropriately high! We’re also super excited about her next project coming out on the Sci-Fi Channel this December: it’s a mini-series sci-fi style retelling of “The Wizard of Oz” called “Tin Man”, and Zoey plays ‘DG’ (Dorothy Gale, anyone?), our young heroine, on a trippy adventure to find out where she truly belongs (home, perhaps?)! It’ premieres Sunday, Dec. 2nd, so mark it on your calendars!
(photo: pr photo)
To Bee or Not to BeeOct. 26th, 2007 Last night was the New York premiere of “Bee Movie”, the new animated feature starring the voice talents of Jerry Seinfeld and Renee Zellweger! The all ‘black and yellow’ affair was full of families, to watch the story of Barry Bee and his fight for all the honey! Don’t worry that the bee theme means the movie is too cute! It’s full of jokes for older kids and grown-ups, too! People will be buzzing!

Hollywood Turns GreenOct. 25th, 2007 Last night, Hollywood hosted its own Environmental Media Association Awards, and the ‘green’ carpet was packed with star power. And this group didn’t just jump on the ‘global warming’ bandwagon! They’ve been celebrating environmental efforts by films, TV shows and individual actors and actresses for 17 years! Other than the official face of all things ‘green’, Al Gore, lots of stars were on hand to lend their support such as Michael Urie and Ana Ortiz from “Ugly Betty” and three of the stars of HSM, Olesya Rulin, Monique Coleman and Corbin Bleu (!), as well as Gerard Butler, Jamie Lynn Sigler, Emily Deschanel, Amber Tamblyn and “Heroes” hottie Zachary Quinto! Looks like it might be easier being green than we thought… easier on the eyes, anyway!!! (photo: pr photo)
Carrie and Chace?Oct. 25th, 2007 Sounds a little like their stealing something… and maybe they are! The new hot Hollywood couple right now is country pop star Carrie Underwood and “Gossip Girl”s Chace Crawford! And it’s more than just a rumor! They’ve been spotted walking down the street holding hands, and he’s even shown up with her to a public appearance for a TV show! That doesn’t sound like hiding or denying anything to us! Good for them! We wish the couple the strength to stand the media attention that will surely be coming their way soon! But definitely one of the cutest couple since Zanessa, right?!? (photo: pr photo)
No One Tops AliciaOct. 24th, 2007 The number one R&B song in America this week is Alicia Keyes single “No One”, of f her album “As I Am” to be released on November 13th. And she didn’t do it just on one R&B chart! She’s managed to get the right numbers on both the Sales and Airplay charts! We love her, the radio loves her, when will it end?!? The song’s heavy piano line grows into a powerful ballad you’ll all be singing and swaying to before long! Congrats, Alicia!
(photo: pr photo)
Movies RockOct. 24th, 2007 And to prove it, the stars of music are coming out to sing the best that classic movie soundtracks have to offer! On December 2nd at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood, CA (that’s where they hold the Oscar’s!), today’s singing stars will sing the tunes of Hollywood gone by. Already on board are such faves as Carrie Underwood, Beyonce, Mary J Blige, John Legend, Fergie, Jennifer Hudson and Elton John. The show will air on Dec. 7th, and all proceeds from the show will go to support the Entertainment Industry Foundation. We can’t wait for the soundtrack to come out! There will be a soundtrack – won’t there?!? (photo: pr photo)
Happy Birthday Adrienne Bailon!Oct. 24th, 2007 The Cheetah Girl is celebrating her day today, and we wish her all the best! Cheetah-licious!
(photo: pr photo)
Jessica’s ViewOct. 23rd, 2007 It has just been announced that Jessica Simpson will co-host on “The View” on Novemeber 15th and 16th! We don’t know if she is intended to make-up for the lack of blonde that will be the result of Elisabeth Hasselbeck going out on maternity leave, or what, but we look forward to seeing what happens! Who knew the "Major Movie Star" was looking for side-gigs!
(photo: pr photo)
Carrie’s CD Streets Today!Oct. 23rd, 2007 The newest album out from ex-idol and now superstar Carrie Underwood is in stores today! It’s called “Carnival Ride”, and we’ve all been looking forward to it with bated breath! Carrie herself was in New York City on “Good Morning America” to promote it, and was also spotted at a nearby Virgin Megastore getting herself a copy! Somehow, we think the sales will do just fine, even without her help!

FOB Not Letting GoOct. 22nd, 2207 The lead singer of Fall Out Boy, Patrick Stump, has let it slip that the band has enough new songs out there for an album, he just doesn’t feel the time is right to release one. Seeing as how their last album, “Infinity On High”, which is over nine months old, just produced another single for the charts, writer/singer/producer Stump may have a point! He also says that the new songs would take the band in very new directions, though in the end, he says it will be a pop album all the same. How kewl to find someone with the patience to wait like that! In the meantime, the band will be touring with Cute Is What We Aim For, Plain White T’s and Gym Class Heroes on it’s Young Wild Things Tour. Ashley Goes To MallOct. 22nd, 2007 Ashley Tisdale is in the middle of her super popular “Headstrong Mall Tour Across America”. While in New York, she stopped by the set of Good Morning America, and performed the hit “He Said, She Said” for TV audiences. Go ahead and google it… her dancing boys are pretty cute! Zanessa Celebrate!Oct. 19th, 2007 Last night for Zac’s 20th birthday, he and girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens were spotted at super chic eatery Orso in West Hollywood having a celebratory dinner together. Rumor has it he spent most of the day in an office building, so we’re hoping he was hard at work developing one of his upcoming projects! Even stars have to work on their birthdays! At any rate, his special dinner out was well deserved! Both stars looked relaxed… and dare we need add GOOD (!) as they departed the restaurant. Sweet birthday dreams, Zanessa!

Miley/Hannah Goes To Movies!Oct. 19th, 2007 Of all the great things about the Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus tour, the best for the rest of us may be that the show will be coming to movie theatres in February! The whole concert show will be filmed and released as a 3-D movie, and shown first in the US and Canada, and later in the Spring internationally! Her concert tour opened last night in St. Louis, Missouri, with over 50 dates to follow through the beginning of next year! As you can expect, there’ll be more and more Miley news to report her on KEWLmag.com, so stay tuned!
(photo: pr photo)
Happy Birthday ZAC!Oct. 18th, 2007 What else can we say! Zac, we hope you’re having the best day ever, in what has got to be one of the best years of your life so far!!! Now that Zac is 20 years old, he’s leaving his teens behind, but not his teen fans! Luckily, we know that we can count on him playing a teen in at least three more movies in the next year, so the dream can continue! Kids all over the country are having parties to celebrate the day, though we’re pretty sure the man himself will spend his day among family and close friends! All the best to Zac, and of course, many, many more!!!
(photo: pr photo)
More Birthdays!Oct. 18th, 2007 And more of your favorite people are having their birthdays today, too! Give it up for Ne-Yo and Carly Schroeder (Gracie) who are both a year older today, too! Pretty KEWL day to be having your birthday, so have a happy from everyone here at KEWL!

?????????Oct. 17th, 2007 Do you know which teen star will officially be losing their 'teen' status tomorrow?!? It's breaking our hearts, but this teen superstar that has been traveling the globe, and closing deal after deal lately, is getting older tomorrow... and we hope better, too! This person will be playing teens for a while to come, though, so we won't have to give up entirely! Do you know who it is???
Clay Loves Spam! Oct. 17th, 2007
A lot! Or at least he’s agreed to join the cast of Broadway’s hit show “Spamalot” in the role of Sir Robin! The American Idol runner-up will be available for your New York theatre viewing pleasure from January 18th through May 4th of next year. Get you tickets now! And if you’re not familiar with the source material of the show, namely the movies of Monty Python’s Flying Circus, well get renting! You’ve got a lot of pop-culture knowledge to catch up on! And enjoy for the first time! Looks like all you Claymates out there are in for one big treat! (photo: pr photo)
Give Us Your Shoes! Oct. 17th, 2007
Natalie Portman is out and about for a new charity: www.Shoes4Africa.org. The organization is really called The Kiberia Project, which is the name of the largest slum in Africa. It is on a garbage dump the size of New York’s central park (google earth it!) and has no sewer systems and no running water, and most of the people who live there have no shoes. So, before you throw those shoes in the garbage, visit the website above, and find out how you can get involved in giving your old shoes to someone who really needs them! (photo: pr photo)
Star Wars on TV?Oct. 16th, 2007 Sources say it’s been in the works for over a year, and now George Lucas himself is coming to LA to meet with writers to discuss “possibilities”. Apparently, Lucas has been recruiting ‘writers of significance’ to join him at his famed Skywalker Ranch to work on scripts for the show. Once he feels they are all ‘on the same page’, he wants them to go out on their own and create unique scripts for each episode of the show. As for what part of the Star Wars saga is to be the focus of the show, no one has any definite information, though the excitement is high! I’m sure there are only a few million people who would be willing to put on the ‘breakfast bun’ braids and wield a light saber if needed! PS- Natalie Portman is NOT rumored to star.

Happy Birthday John!Oct. 16th, 2007 Today is John Mayer’s Birthday, so everyone wish him a good one! And just to keep you ahead of the birthday curve, tomorrow both Wyclef Jean and Nick Cannon get one year older, and on the following day Carly Schroder (Gracie), Ne-Yo and ZAC EFRON all celebrate their own special day!!! Bumper crop for Libras! Two more shopping days, ladies! And now that Zac is back in LA, you know where to send the gifties! Or just good wishes… I’m sure he’ll be giftied enough!

Keira the DuchessOct. 15th, 2007 Photos are surfacing of Keira Knightly in costume and make-up for her next film, “the Duchess”. She plays said Duchess, namely Georgiana Cavendish, Duchess of Devonshire, who lived an extremely full (and somewhat scandalous!) life for a woman of any class in the 1700’s! Grab the book by Amanda Foreman that the movie is based on if you have a taste for history… her life was NOT BORING!!! The movie isn’t set to come out until sometime in 2008, but the dresses are to die for NOW! We’ll add the costumed pictures as soon as they’re available! This one is from this year's Oscars!

Why Did I Get Married?Oct. 15th, 2007 To make number one on this weekend’s box office, that’s why! Tyler Perry’s latest movie has finally moved him into the big time – maybe it’s just that his time has come?!? The movie stars Janet Jackson (Miss Jackson if you’re nasty), Sharon Leal (Dreamgirls), jazz songstress and actress Jill Scott, and of course, Tyler Perry himself, among a large and talented cast of characters! Like most of his films, this one is also based on one of Tyler’s stage plays – he’s really an all around performer! And now, performing at the box office as well! Congratulations, Tyler! The movie is rated PG-13.

Miley Makes the RoundsOct. 12th, 2007 Yesterday, Miley Cyrus and dad Billy Ray were on Ellen DeGeneres talking about the high ticket prices for her show. They announced that Miley would be opening up more seats by making the VIP section smaller to make more room for regular priced ticket holders! We think that’s pretty KEWL! She and her dad were also on “Dancing with the Stars” on Tuesday night, performing a duet called “Ready, Set, Don’t Go” that Billy Ray wrote just for his little “Smiley”! That’s pretty darn sweet and KEWL! And the song really shows off the fact that Miley’s really got some pipes on her! Some people are more fun to watch than good singers as well – it seems Miley’s is growing up into being both! She also spilled that the show, which also features the Jonas Brothers (OMG!) will involve a lot of interaction between Miley, the Jonas Brothers AND Hannah!!! How’s that gonna work?!? There may be special effects involved, and definitely some choreography by HSM director Kenny Ortega! This show may just be worth all that money people are paying!

Aussie Kid’s Choice!Oct. 12th, 2007 This week, the Australians had their own version of the Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Awards all the way down under, and Zac Efron was there to host the show!
In good old Nick-style, there were orange carpets, blimpies, and most important of all – SLIME! A lot of the awards went to Australian TV and film personalities who are unfamiliar in the the states, but they did manage to slime little Bindi Irwin, the daughter of the late “Crocodile Hunter” Steve Irwin, who’s now a TV personality in her own right.
Zac took home two awards, and we guess it’s just a good thing that Zac looks good in green, too!!!
Nobel for AlOct. 12th, 2007 Former vice-president Al Gore has been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for his work in raising awareness about the global climate crisis! We think it just underscores how real and important the issues are, and it’s good to see that the global community thinks so, too! The movie “An Inconvenient Truth” won an Oscar this year, and he also was an important organizer behind the “Live Earth” televised concerts on every continent that helped bring the message to more people than ever. This is a man who just never stops working for good! Thank goodness! Congratulations, Al!

JT Picks SixOct. 11th, 2007 For the first time this decade… this century, for that matter… Justine Timberlake is the first male artist to get six top 40 hits out of one album. The track that puts him over the top is “Until the End of Time”, and it joins it’s brothers and sisters from his “FutureSex/LoveSounds” album that also made the grade: “LoveStoned”, “My Love”, “Summer Love”, “What Goes Around…” and “SexyBack”. The last artist to do a something similar was Michael Jackson in the early 1990’s, who had seven top 40 hits from his “Dangerous” album. So really, JT’s got one more to make before the title is his – doesn’t he?!? Come on, JT! Bring SEVEN back! (photo: pr photo)
Pine as KirkOct. 11th, 2007 We may have a personal meltdown here! There is a rumor that hot, hot, cute, hot actor Chris Pine (“Princess Diaries 2”, “Just My Luck”) is in talks to play Captain Kirk in the new Star Trek movie. Two great things are even better together! Sorry! Swooning just a bit here! And isn’t it great to have an excuse to put a picture of Chris on the site?!? (Sigh!)

Britney Moves UpOct. 11th, 2007 Her album release date, that is. Because of ‘leaks’ of many of the songs due to come out on the album, titled “Blackout”, Britney Spears will be moving up her release date from the original November 13th to October 30th. Some of the leaked songs are said to include tracks that will be used on the album as well as working and unfinished tracks that were just used to develop the final songs. With all the leaks, she’s still managed to keep the final track list for the album a secret, though, with only a few of the titles known, but not the order in which they’ll play. The Songs we can look forward to other than “Gimme More” are “Heaven on Earth”, “Radar”, “Piece of Me” and “Break the Ice”. Are you at all interested? Or is her scandalous life making you want to look away? We’re not sure either. Here’s hoping for better Britney days! (photo: pr photo)
AMA NomineesOct. 10th, 2007 The American Music Awards have announced their nominees for this year, though things will be a little different in the voting process this time around: They’re letting the public vote for the winners! As it stands, the leaders in nominations are Beyonce, Justin Timberlake, Linkin Park and Daughtry, all with 3 nominations each! In a strange coincidence, the three artists who have 2 nominations each are all from the world of country music: Tim McGraw, Rascal Flatts and our fave, Carrie Underwood! And Who was on hand to announce the nominees? None other than our fave boy band, The Jonas Brothers! Though the nominations are given out based on sales, this year’s winner will be chosen by… well, you, if you want to! The place to do it online is www.ama.abc.com, and you can vote through November 1st. The winners will be announced during their awards show on ABC November 18th, and will feature performances by Fergie, Rihanna and nominee Daughtry! Congrats to all!
Sing With Chris Brown Oct 10, 2007
Sony Pictures and Black Voices are getting down with Chris Brown and the cast of his new movie, 'This Christmas,' to find the best amateur singers in the country to take part in the This Christmas Singing Challenge. The 40 finalists will appear here on BV for the world to see, and vote on their sixty second versions of either Silent Night or This Christmas. The winner will qualify for a chance to win an all expense paid trip to New York City to perform in the upcoming BET holiday special with the cast of 'This Christmas,' including Chris Brown. Miley Stands By Her Fans
Oct 9, 2007 Since going on sale last week, tickets became quickly unavailable to regular customers across America, as secondary “re-sellers” bought up the tickets in huge quantities, to then sell them at much higher prices. The highest reported price paid for a ticket was $2500 in North Carolina – though whether this is an urban myth or not, it still doesn’t change the fact that tickets are scarce and parents can’t afford the prices asked. So now, the attorney generals of three states have decided to do something about it! They’re suing re-sellers and a technology company that provides premium access to the Ticketmaster ticketing system – in effect, their software lets high-paying re-sellers ‘jump the line’, and let’s them do it over and over again! Hopefully this will bring a few more tickets back to the regular folks! Miley’s making an effort to do good by all her fans, so stay tuned for more news later on how she and her fansite, www.mileyworld.com, are planning on doing this! (photo PR Photos)
Where in the World is…Oct. 9th, 2007 Zac! It’s our new favorite game! The KEWL offices are in the same ‘hood’ where Zac lives, so we’re used to spotting him around at the local café’s, diners and, most of all smoothie store (no pun intended!). So when he’s not around, we gotta ask ourselves: “Where in the World is Zac Efron?” Two weeks ago he was in Italy, last week we were relieved to spot him on Japanese TV, and now we’ve got him spotted in Australia – again! – where he’s in town to host the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards, down-under edition! He’s looking good, and enjoying the Aussie spring, as evidenced by his repeated flip-flop offenses at red carpet dates! Is it kewl, or should the boy get some shoes? Go to our blog and let us know what you think of ‘serial flip-flop wearers’!!! And come home soon, Zac! (photo: pr photo)
Holy St. Jude!Oct. 8th, 2007 This past weekend, the stars were out at the Power of Youth benefit for St. Jude’s Children's Hospital. The event was held at the Globe Theater in Universal City, California (right next door to Hollywood and KEWL!), and tons of teen stars were on hand: Miley Cyrus, Vanessa Hudgens, Emma Roberts and Ashley Benson were there to up the cute factor, as were hotties Devon Werkheiser, The Sprouse Twins and Jason Dolley,as well as performances by teen artists Elisha Kelley (Seaweed from Hairspray), KeKe Palmer (Akeela and the Bee), Tyler James Williams (Chris on Everybody Hates Chris), and Janel Parrish (Jade in Bratz). Good times, and good deeds, were done and had by all! KEWL was there, so look out for more pix, dish and fun to come!

Clarkson’s New VideoOct. 8th, 2007 Today, Kelly Clarkson’s new music video for her song “Don’t Waste Your Time” came out, and it’s a Sleeping Beauty inspired rock anthem that we’ll all be shouting out at slumber parties in no time! Check out the gorgeous red dress and romantic castle set for a treat. Oh! And the guy’s kinda cute, too! (photo: pr photo)
Happy B-Day Matt!
Oct 8, 2007 Matt Damon is our lucky birthday boy today, and we wish him a happy one! With the success of his latest “Bourne” film, and the cute pictures that have surfaced of his gorgeous, happy family, we’re sure they’re making today especially special for him!!! All the best, Damon’s! (photo: pr photo)
Jess Moves to NYC?Oct. 5th, 2007 The “Major Movie Star” Jessica Simpson was spotted on the prowl for new Manhattan digs this week! Her public relations people have denied the rumor, and we know how fun it is to look at super kewl New York apartments when you don’t need to (?), so of course, we believe them. The Simps had a whole entourage in tow, which seems like a lot of trouble if you’re not seriously apartment shopping! We wonder if it’s easier or harder to be a celebrity in New York City? Hmmmm!

Woman of the Year!Oct. 5th, 2007 After last months Emmy, you’d think there’d be a break in the flow of awards for our fave “Betty” America Ferrera, but that isn’t the case! She’s set to receive the Hispanic Woman of the Year Award next week! Congrats! It couldn’t go to a more universally KEWL role model, though we think the title is a bit limiting… why stop at just Hispanic? Just plain Woman of the Year would suit us just fine!

Still Going Strong Oct. 4th, 2007
Justin Timberlake and girlfriend Jessica Biel were spotted in Toronto, Canada walking hand in hand and being all lovey-dovey this week! Mr. JT is in the north working on his new film “The Love Guru”, and certainly showing us a thing or two about treating your girlfriend right! Smiling, taking her to brunch, and not hiding his feelings for his girl… He’s bringing chivalry back! (Look it up! That’s what dictionaries are for!) (photo: pr photo)
Avril is HotOct. 4th, 2007 Canadian songstress Avril Lavigne just premiered her new music video for her song “Hot”. The uptempo song makes for a video that reminds us of the movie “Moulin Rouge”, with feather’s and top hats and lacy, frilly things all over the place. “Hot” is the third single to come out from her most recent album “The Best Damn Thing”. Happy Birthday!Oct. 3rd, 2007 Today is a big day for celebrity birthdays! Not only is it diva Gwen Stefani’s big day, but Ashlee Simpson’s as well! And if you like it soul-ier, you can check out some of birthday girl India.Arie’s tracks! If you lean less toward music, you can also choose to help Seann William Scott, Shannyn Sossamon or Clive Owen celebrate! We said it was a big day for birthdays! But what’s really bugging us, is: what are their ‘loved ones’ doing to make the day a bit brighter?!? Stay tuned and we’ll update as info comes in!

Sabrina Dances to Top Oct. 3rd, 2007
Cheetah Girl Sabrina Bryan is making a splash, and it seems, a run for the money on ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars”! A current poll puts her in second place to win the whole tomato, right behind Helio Castroneves, the crushable Brazilian car-racing star. Something about a man in a tux who drives well and can dance – where do we sign up? And now Abercrombie model Albert Reed is out of the running. He is pretty cute, but do his dancing skills say, “Just another pretty face”?!? At least he tried something beyond just sitting there and looking pretty! Sorry to see him go! The judges did do the right thing however, when they let Jane Seymour be safe from elimination due to the passing of her mother this week. That was a class move, and we wish Jane comfort at this difficult time for her. Maybe some more dance therapy can cheer her up when she comes back? Let’s hope! Dance On, Stars! (photo: pr photo)
Vanessa Bowls for CharityOct. 2nd, 2007 Baby V was out last night to raise awareness for the charity 'Best Buddies International.' It’s a group that helps people with intellectual disabilities by giving them the chance to have one on one friendships. Vanessa used the famous ‘legs wide and down the middle’ bowling approach, often resulting in gutter balls! She bowled with hope though, while bringing hope to others.

Hannah Tour Sells Out! Oct. 2nd, 2007
‘Cause there aren’t any more left! Tickets for Miley Cyrus' (otherwise known as Hannah Montana) fall concert shows are selling out faster than a jackrabbit being followed by a fox, and are being ‘scalped’ (means resold at much higher prices) for up to five times the price on the ticket! One woman in North Carolina is reported to have paid over $2,000 for a ticket! Up ‘til now, we thought her fans were all teens and tweens – but it sounds like some grown up money is changing hands out there! With prices like those, she’s actually set to break records previously held by The Beatles and The Rolling Stones! Look in our new Oct/Nov issue for a list of her concert dates through November! Go Miley! (photo: pr photo)
Shakira gives Post ShakerOct. 1st, 2007 In the aftermath of the earthquake that rocked South America recently, Shakira announced that she would be donating 40 million dollars in relief funds. Along with that, the international pop diva has also promised a further 5 million dollars in aid for children in the area. She announced these moves while attending the Clinton Global Initiative last week in New York City, along with city mayor Michael Bloomberg, with whom she discussed other anti-poverty plans. Way to make a difference, Shakira!

It’s nice, cause the crew looked so happy and fun at the premiere – you just know they had a good time making a good movie! Congrats to the Team! (photo: pr photo)
